ECU NICOLAUS for gas. It works with an intergrated switch; dedicated to SPI engines and MPI engines with lambda probe and catalytic converter. NICOLAUS is a self-adaptive, programmable automatic system controlling air and fuel mixture during the engine operation. Nicolaus is controlled by a microprocessor, which ensures the right mixture for the whole engine operation range. Nicolaus receives the following signals: from a lambda probe, RPM, throttle valve sensor (TPS), reducers temperature sensor. Based on real time comparisons of set values and those received from the sensors, Nicolaus controls the stepper motor on the actuator. Nicolaus shall allow for any configuring after it is connected to the AE 215 Tester/Programmer Unit, or to a PC via an interface. It is suitable for max 2500cc engines (the actuator's diameter D=16mm). In order to have a complete set, a proper type of switch needs to be added ie. AE 173R (reserve), AE 173W (display).
